He joined Bayer Australia in January 2024 as Managing Director of Bayer Australia and New Zealand. In 2011, he went on to spearhead the formation of Bayer Zydus Pharma \u2013 a joint venture between Bayer and Zydus Cadila and also became a part of the Bayer South Asia Leadership Team in India.  In 2012, he was chosen as the Country Head for Pharmaceuticals division and the Country Representative for Consumer Health and Animal Health divisions in Bayer Vietnam. He is passionate about Diversity, Equity &amp; Inclusion (DE&amp;I) and represents the DE&amp;I Council of Bayer Pharma globally. Giorgio also supports the growth of the region and the expansion in new emerging markets, investigating and understanding the nuances of each country.<\/p>\n<p>Giorgio has worked in the pharma industry for over 13 years, evolving from a leadership role in EMEA support, to Professional Services to Product Management.
