BARCELONA, Spain \u2014 4 Dec., 2014<\/strong> \u2014 <\/strong>Veeva Systems today announced that it has opened two new European data centres, located in Germany and the U.K., in support of the company\u2019s continued investment in the region and rapid global expansion. The introduction of these facilities simplifies compliance with local data privacy laws and international regulatory requirements by offering European customers the opportunity to store their data within the region.<\/p>\n

The new data centres can support European and global customers\u2019 needs for all of Veeva\u2019s cloud-based solutions, including Veeva CRM<\/a>,\u00a0Veeva Network<\/a>, and Veeva Vault<\/a>. While all Veeva customers are protected by stringent Safe Harbor certifications, the Veeva European data centres will expand current options and safeguards to help ensure that companies can best meet compliance and regulatory requirements now and into the future.<\/p>\n

Veeva\u2019s new European data centre facilities offer the highest levels of security and energy efficiency, and the ability to rapidly scale services as needed.<\/p>\n

The establishment of the European data centres builds on Veeva\u2019s strong presence in Europe and the recent fourfold expansion of the company\u2019s Budapest office. Today, more than 100 life sciences organisations and major divisions \u2013 spanning human, animal, and consumer health \u2013 are utilising Veeva\u2019s products in Europe.\u00a0Headquartered in Barcelona since 2010, Veeva Europe is supported by offices in London, Paris, and Budapest, and has extensive coverage across the region.<\/p>\n
