Mahesh has 24 years experience in the pharmaceuticals industry across UK, Australia, and New Zealand with successful roles in sales, sales management, learning & development, brand management, marketing leadership, business unit leadership, strategy, and innovation.
He joined AbbVie in 2021, from Takeda, where he was the Marketing Lead for IBD and Business Unit Manager for Gastroenterology having previously held successful leadership roles at Eli Lilly.
Mahesh holds a BA (Hons) degree in Management Studies from the University of London, a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing from Kings College, University of London and has successfully completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Program and holds a certificate in Disruptive Innovation from Harvard Business School.
