Agenda

What are the biggest challenges to solve in the next 2 years towards clinical data transformation? Deciding what we don’t do right now is just as important as what we prioritize. A panel of operational leaders will discuss how they prioritize which challenges to solve with “pragmatic innovation.” These leaders will share how they think about process change, evolving operational excellence, and what they’d like to see in the future.

Eli Lilly implemented a centralized data strategy to streamline their processes and maximize value. They will discuss process change and optimization, the key role of operational analytics in the long-term, and examples of layering innovation on top of a data foundation.

Can an EHR-EDC integration work at scale? Eli Lilly will share their initial lessons learned in the startup process and how they think about scaling in the future.

Hear the perspectives from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), a site, and IgniteData, a technology provider, on key things to keep in mind, approaching interoperability, and what they’ve learned from implementing multiple EHR to EDC integrations.

We’ll have breakout groups to discuss how we pragmatically innovate processes towards clinical data transformation. Which processes must we start, and which ones must we stop because they hold us back? If you could wave your magic wand, which processes would you change? How would you measure success?

Breakout groups will share their takeaways and we’ll have a facilitated discussion on how to carry these concepts forward. How can we simplify and standardize our processes for greatest impact?

Reflect on the day and discuss how to continue the conversation.

Stay a while to talk and eat with friends and colleagues. This will be a casual and informal time to continue conversations that were started earlier in the day.
