What’s New with Veeva Align?

Highlights for Territory Alignments at Veeva’s 2017 Commercial Summit

Life sciences companies understand the consistent challenges associated with territory alignments. From complex and cumbersome manual processes to lack of field feedback to outsourcing via inefficient third-party providers, territory alignments can be a frustrating burden on the business. That’s why it was encouraging to see Veeva Align emerge as the bridge between strategy and execution at the Veeva Commercial Summit this past month in Philadelphia.

Highlights included:

  • GSK presented a review of their global Align implementation, which helped deliver better resource utilization and faster territory alignments.
  • The Veeva product team announced Target Planning in Align – a future capability to generate multichannel cycle plan (MCCP) goals for aligned accounts based on rule criteria. This will significantly reduce CRM administrative burden while improving the overall alignment and targeting process. It will enable field teams to participate in creating the best engagement plan for their customers.
  • Galderma provided an in-depth look at why they chose Align, how IT implemented it in a mere six weeks, and the benefits they are seeing as a result of enabling their business to directly manage the alignment process in Align.
  • In addition, the Align demo booth was quite lively, with customers stacking up three deep to see Align in action. Of particular interest was the newly released ability to master Veeva CRM MySetup product information – we expect that it will be a major benefit to using Align!
