What’s New in Vault PromoMats with Veeva Vault 18R2: Capabilities for Brand Managers and Compliance Teams

With the 18R2 release of Veeva Vault PromoMats, we’re excited to deliver new capabilities to empower brand managers with Veeva Vault PromoMats Brand Portal Editor, strengthen our DAM capabilities, and improve compliance. I want to share the thinking behind these features, and how you can use them to create, review, and approve more content, faster.

Veeva Vault 18R2 brings enhanced DAM capabilities for marketing and brand teams

Veeva Vault Brand Portal Editor

In December, we announced the launch of Veeva Vault PromoMats Brand Portal to organize and showcase commercial assets across teams. With 18R2 and the launch of Veeva Vault PromoMats Brand Portal Editor, we’ve gone the next step and put Veeva Vault PromoMats Brand Portal fully into the hands of business users. Today, through an intuitive user interface, brand managers can create and maintain their own portals. This helps brand teams quickly set up a self-service, centralized hub, with fewer clicks. Ultimately this will lead to better, more current portals, which will drive greater reuse within your organization.

To more effectively measure reuse, you can now capture the reasoning behind document copies. Analyzing the drivers of reuse will help your teams improve global brand management and consistency. So not only are we focused on enabling reuse, but we’re also dedicated to helping brands assess and optimize it.

Continued DAM Investment

Enriching our digital asset management capabilities in Vault PromoMats was a key theme of this release. In particular, our automated Adobe InDesign component linking will have a dramatic impact on teams that upload assets and those that consume them. Removing the manual effort of finding and linking related pieces frees creatives to focus on content creation, not the administrative work of managing relationships in DAM. Vault now automatically componentizes InDesign files and surfaces the contents for better searchability and rights management.

Enhancements for Regulatory Teams

Lastly, we’re continuing to prioritize compliance. New enhancements for making a copy allow you to control which fields are duplicated – reducing the risk of carrying over outdated or inappropriate information.

Thanks again for partnering with Veeva. Check out the 18R2 release kit for quick demos and more information on what’s new. And as always, reach out to your CSM with any questions, or feel free to ask a question in the Veeva Support Portal. We welcome your feedback!
